Saving Animals & Finding Homes
Our History
MARTIN STAR is a modern animal shelter born from a big dream of a world where every tail has its own home. We are a team of volunteers, veterinarians and dog trainers who have come together to become a reliable shield for those in trouble on the street. Our activities are based on the principles of absolute transparency, professional care and boundless love for each of our wards.

What Drives Us
Our Mission
Our mission at MARTIN STAR is to be a voice for those who cannot ask for help and a reliable bridge between an abandoned animal and its new loving family. We strive not only to provide a temporary shelter, but to create conditions for the full rehabilitation, socialization and psychological recovery of each animal in our care. Our global goal is a world where every pet has a home and society treats animals with responsibility and compassion.

Why MARTIN STAR ?
MARTIN STAR we believe
We have created conditions where animals do not just «wait» but live full lives: they undergo the necessary rehabilitation, socialize, and learn to trust people again.

How can I adopt an animal from your shelter? The adoption process at MARTIN STAR begins with getting to know each other. We invite you to come to the shelter to chat with the chosen pet and our volunteers. If you like the idea, we discuss the living conditions and sign a responsible maintenance agreement that guarantees the safety and well-being of the animal in its new family.
Can I come just to walk the dogs or pet the cats?
Yes, we are always happy to have guests! For our residents, communicating with people is an important part of socialization, which helps them learn to trust again. Please contact us in advance to arrange a visit: we will select an animal for you that you will be comfortable spending time with, and we will talk about safety rules.
What is the health status of the animals at MARTIN STAR?
Each of our wards undergoes a full medical examination immediately after entering the shelter. We provide the necessary treatment, mandatory vaccinations and sterilization (according to age). When transferring an animal to a new family, we provide future owners with all the information about its health status and recommendations for further care.
How can I help the shelter if I cannot take the animal home?
There are many ways to help! You can become a financial benefactor (even a small donation saves a life), donate food, medicines or warm clothes. We also always need the help of volunteers: from car volunteering and help with cleaning to sharing our posts on social networks — each of your reposts brings the moment of the animal meeting its owner
